DISPLAY:
- Invert the display colors by pressing the rotary knob from the main screen of the charge, discharge, cycle, or motor mode.
CHARGE MODE:
- If the power supply is interrupted during a charge, the unit will restart when the supply is restored.
- Vary the charge rate during operation by turning the rotary knob. Watch the amp set value to determine the new setting. After the charge is complete, the original setting is restored.
- Expanded range .1 to 12 amps to charge any size Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh cells.
- Delay start for charge up to 999 minutes. Resets itself after each use.
- Display the graph real time by pressing the mode button during operation.
DISCHARGE MODE:
- Expanded range .5 to 35 amps to discharge any size Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh cells.
- Variable discharge modes (oval and off road) have a 0 to 45 amp simulation of a race event. Not intended for taking readings.
- Settings for 1 to 8 cells for cutoff voltage (previous units had 1,4,6 or 7 only).
- AIR (actual internal resistance) on/off. Used to disable the test performed at the 120 second mark during discharge. Variation of the discharge rate during the test is apparent when viewing the graph. If a perfect graph is desired, turn off.
- Display the graph real time by pressing the mode button during operation.
MOTOR MODE:
- Now with up to 20 amps output. Older units limited to 12 amps.
DATA MODE:
- This is where you view results from the discharge or cycle. It is also where the on screen charge and discharge graphs can be displayed. Press the rotary knob to highlight the desired graph and press the start/stop button. Rotate the rotary knob to move the cursor along the curve to check voltage at 5 second intervals. Comm. port has a new feature called 'Real Time" when used with hyperterminal on your PC., the voltage, amperage and time of charge and discharge functions are stored every second. This information can then be used with Excel to make a graph.
SET MODE:
- Load, save charges and name 10 setups with up to 9 characters each. The unit is pre-programmed with 6 setups as a starting point. Also, set up beeper function and machine I.D. for use with our TurboLabel program.
